Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of Marginflow ("the service"). By installing or using the service you agree to them.

1. The service

Marginflow is a profit analytics dashboard for ecommerce sellers operating on Shopify. The service reads your store data via Shopify's Admin API and computes metrics, expenses, and recommendations. We provide the service "as is" without warranty of accuracy — figures are estimates and should not be treated as official accounting.

2. Accounts and access

  • You authorize Marginflow by signing in with Shopify OAuth and granting read scopes (read_products, read_inventory, read_orders).
  • We never request write access — Marginflow cannot modify products, orders, or settings in your store.
  • You can revoke access at any time by uninstalling the app from your Shopify admin or signing out in Marginflow.

3. Plans and billing

  • Free — no charge, with the limits listed on the Pricing page.
  • Pro — paid subscription billed monthly through Shopify's Billing API. Pricing is shown before you confirm.
  • A 14-day free trial is offered for Pro; you can cancel any time during the trial without being charged.
  • Refunds: monthly subscriptions are non-refundable for periods already started, but you keep Pro access until the end of the billing period.
  • Shopify handles all payment processing, taxes, and invoicing.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the service to violate Shopify's Acceptable Use Policy or any applicable law.
  • Attempt to access another merchant's data, reverse-engineer the service, or circumvent rate limits.
  • Share authentication credentials or admin keys with unauthorized third parties.

5. Disclaimers

Marginflow analytics are informational only and do not constitute financial, legal, tax, or accounting advice. AI-generated insights are produced by third-party language models and may contain errors; you remain responsible for business decisions made using the service.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Marginflow's total liability for any claim arising out of the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or punitive damages (including lost profits).

7. Termination

Either party may terminate this agreement at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms with notice. On termination your shop record and associated data is deleted within 48 hours (in line with the Shopify shop/redact webhook).

8. Changes

We may update these Terms with reasonable notice via in-app alert. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the operator's primary place of business. Disputes are resolved exclusively in the courts of that jurisdiction.
